Ahmad bin Ali Stadium is located on the boundaries of Doha. It is served by a metro station, named Mall of Qatar, and there is indeed a great mall nearby, the largest of the country.
The stadium sits on a spot previously occupied by the former Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, demolished in 2015 to make space for the new construction.
Unlike other stadiums built in Qatar for the World Cup, this is still used and will continue to be used as the home stadium of the football club Al-Rayyan Sports Club.
It's possible to approach the stadium but visits to the inside are not allowed.
