[ES] La escultura rinde homenaje, mostrando respeto y apoyo, al drama humano de las personas huidas de sus países de origen en busca de refugio.

Los protagonistas son los migrantes, sentados sobre un gran bloque de hormigón esperando la ayuda, todos con chalecos salvavidas. Mujeres y hombres forman el grupo escultórico, incluso podemos ver un bebé en brazos de su madre.

Es obra del escultor brasileño Bel Borda y fue instalada en 2019.

[EN] The sculpture pays homage, showing respect and support, to the human drama of people fleeing their countries of origin in search of refuge.

The protagonists are the migrants, sitting on a large concrete block waiting for help, all wearing life jackets. Women and men make up the sculptural group, we can even see a baby in the arms of her mother.

It is the work of the Brazilian sculptor Bel Borda and was installed in 2019.
