The building, built in 1841, which now houses the Pannenkoekerie In den Markenrichter, has been used as an inn since 1865. Many passers-by, especially riders and wagoners with horse and carriage, stopped to eat and drink for themselves. They could also let the horses drink and feed them. In the gallery at this waymark there is a photo from around 1910 on which the mangers can be clearly seen. You can also see that the buildings have remained largely the same over the years.
Until the 1980s it remained a kind of inn. After that, a restaurant was located in it for 8 years. In 1998 it became a pancake restaurant. There are 120 different types of pancakes on the menu.
