Bristol Mountain opened on December 12, 1964 with 50 acres of 360 cleared for lifts and runs. A year later, snowmaking began. Today, they have 33 slopes and trails, 2 terrain parks and make snow on 97% of the hill. The summit elevation is 2,200', the base elevation is 1,000'. The vertical of 1,200' allows Bristol to reign as the highest vertical between the Adirondack/Laurentains Mountains to the east and the Rocky Mountains to the west.
