In fornt of the church in Schoonrewoerd is a village square. In the middle of it, next to the old village pump, is a sculpture made by Marijke Ravenswaaij-Deege. It features two storks made from bronze. They rest on a stone circle. On the circle is said that the sculpture was revealed at 28 august 1982 by a member of the provincial states of Zuid-Holland (drs. J. Borgman).
