The Cobblestone House at 17 Bartlett Street is thought to be the easternmost cobblestone house in the United States. It was built around 1845. A small porch on the east side is supported by two wood columns.

At one time a the New Haven and Northampton Canal passed through the center of Westfield. It is believed the cobblestones were brought
in as ballast as boats came up the canal. These were salvaged and used to construct the house.
