Not far from the E14 that runs through Jämtlands Län on the Swedish side and through Trøndelag fylke on the Norwegian side is a small waterfall called Brudesløret. A small hiking path leads in western direction from the small parking lot at the E14 to the waterfall over some bigger rocks. A yellow sign with the words "Riksgräns NORGE" in black letters can be seen from the Swedish side, the other side bears the words "Riksgrense SVERIGE". The next villages to that crossing are Teveldalen in Norway (about 1 km to the northwest) and Storlien in Sweden (about 3km to the east).

Due to the Nordic Passport Union, that was established 1952, the border patrols between the nordic countries were reduced significantly so that people may travel between Norway and Sweden without passport checks. So no other indicators but the sign for the border crossing can be seen nearby.
