[FR] Pont-de-Barret se situe en Drôme Provençale, à quelques kilomètres de Montélimar. C’est un petit village au pied du Vercors, calme et ensoleillé.
Les Scouts et Guides de France y possèdent une grande propriété de 14 hectares, « Notre Dame de la Brune ».
Partagé entre prairies et bois, le terrain offre une très grande surface pour camper tout en se protégeant du soleil, qui peut taper très fort… et de la pluie qui peut elle aussi tomber très drue ! Pont-de-Barret est en effet connu pour son micro-climat, et il n’est pas rare qu’un petit vent frisquet y souffle…

On trouve également sur la propriété une ferme, aménagée en lieu d’accueil et de réunion (cuisine collective, salle à manger, petites chambres, salles de réunion), des blocs sanitaires indépendants, une chapelle en plein air, deux théâtres de verdure,…

De nombreuses activités et visites sont possibles aux alentours : baignade, randonnées, kayak, escalade, gorges de l’Ardêche, Abbaye d’Aiguebelle,…
Pont-de-Barret est l’une des deux bases de formation pour le pôle Est (l’autre étant le château du Breuil), mais la propriété sert aussi pour de nombreux camps et rassemblements (comme Cap Vert, le rassemblement national des anirels, fin août 2004). L’équipe de bénévoles qui entretient le lieu accueille également des événements non-scouts : journées associatives, week-ends d’intégration, camps de jeunes,…

[EN] Pont-de-barret is located in Drôme Provençale in France, a few kilometres from Montélimar. It is a small village at the foot of the Vercors, quiet and sunny.
The Scouts and Guides of France own a large property of 14 hectares, «Notre Dame de la Brune».
Shared between meadows and woods, the land offers a very large area to camp while protecting itself from the sun, which can hit very hard… and rain that can also fall very drue! Pont-de-barret is indeed known for its micro-climate, and it is not uncommon for a small chilly wind to blow there…

There is also on the property a farm, arranged as a place of reception and meeting (collective kitchen, dining room, small bedrooms, meeting rooms), independent toilet blocks, an open-air chapel, two theatres of greenery, etc.

Many activities and visits are possible in the surroundings: swimming, hiking, kayaking, climbing, gorges de l'Ardêche, Aiguebelle Abbey, etc.
Pont-de-barret is one of the two training bases for the Eastern Pole (the other being the Château du Breuil), but the property is also used for many camps and gatherings (like Cap Vert, the national gathering of Anirels, end of August 2004). The team of volunteers who maintain the venue also hosts non-traditional events: association days, integration weekends, youth camps, etc.
