Li River Scenic Area is one of the largest and most beautiful karst landscape recreational area. It is always said that "Guilin's scenery is the best in the world".

The most beautiful scenes of Guilin's landscape are along the Li River. The hills beyond the hills with their reflections in the crystal clear water are like a fairyland, green bamboo welcomes you all along the river in the breeze ; water buffaloes casually eating grass; the ducks swimming along the river; the fisherman fishing or taking a nap on the bamboo rafts with his cormorants resting peacefully beside him, it is the God-strewn landscape. The natural beauty of Li River is beyond description, you have to be there to see with your own eyes and feel with your own heart.

The coordinates are from the Zhujiang Pier in Guilin

Excerpt from the song mentioning the Li River:
«J'ai dragué Suzy
J'ai taché d'ombres chinoises
Les draps de son lit
J'ai glissé dans l'eau de jade
De la rivière Li
Chine Chine Chine »

Translation
«I flirted with Suzy
I stained with Chinese shadows
The sheets of her bed
I slipped in jade water
From the Li River
China China China »
