Homenaje al emigrante”, una de las esculturas más curiosas de Mollina
La obra fue esculpida por Antonio Gallero en el año 2003, y se encuentra en el parque del ambulatorio.
En un parque de Mollina, conocido coloquialmente como “Parque del ambulatorio” se encuentra una escultura peculiar que homenajea al emigrante. Ésta es hija del escultor Antonio Gallero y nació debido a un concurso organizado por el Área de Juventud y Deportes de la Diputación malagueña.
La obra en sí representa a unos emigrantes cogiendo sus maletas, ya que la maleta simboliza muy bien a aquellas personas que tuvieron que dejar sus casas en busca de una vida mejor.
Con el paso del tiempo, se ha ido deteriorando por lo que ha tenido que ser restaurada. Este trabajo lo llevó a cabo el Taller Nuevos Artesanos de Mollina.

Tribute to the emigrant", one of the most curious sculptures of Mollina
The work was sculpted by Antonio Gallero in 2003, and is located in the ambulatory park.
In a park in Mollina, colloquially known as "Ambulatorio Park" there is a peculiar sculpture that pays homage to the emigrant. This is the daughter of the sculptor Antonio Gallero and was born due to a contest organized by the Youth and Sports Department of the Malaga Provincial Council.
The work itself represents some emigrants taking their suitcases, since the suitcase symbolizes very well those people who had to leave their homes in search of a better life.
With the passage of time, it has been deteriorating for what has had to be restored. This work was carried out by the Mollina New Craftsmen Workshop.
