This is one of the most beautiful airports ever. Not so much the architecture of the terminal, which it's nice but not unique... what is outstanding is the decoration of its small single terminal. It's a revival bringing us back to the 50's, with era details everywhere.

Ther are a few international flights but mostly it's a domestic airport. It's importance comes from the remnants of the Nabatean tombs, very much the same style as in Petra - Jordan, but without the crowds of tourists.

The airport is about 22 km from the town. Taxi or Uber only. No bus service.
