When we were here in the summer of 2022, we actually witnessed a live marriage proposal. A gentlemen had about 50 red roses... and once his "Juliet" came onto the balcony he proposed. It was done in Italian (we don't speak Italian) and bizarly it was not clear if she actually said "yes".... :-)
