Lazy Louis Jazzcafé & Eethuys is sinds 1991 gevestigd in twee monumentale panden in het centrum van Amersfoort. Vrij vertaald is Lazy Louis vernoemd naar de legendarische jazz-artiest Louis Armstrong, waarbij “Lazy” staat voor de relaxte, jazzy sfeer.

Jazz & blues spelen in het café een belangrijke rol, zowel in de muziek als in het interieur. Een oude piano, veel saxofoons en schilderijen van o.a. Herman Brood met de welluidende naam “Lazy Louis stillevend” zorgen samen met de gezellige, lange bar, een ruim assortiment speciaal bieren en de jazz & bluesmuziek voor een prettige sfeer.

Voor een goed kopje koffie, een mooi glaasje wijn en een prima getapt biertje bent u hier aan het juiste adres. Het restaurant is comfortabel en fraai ingericht, sfeervol met een warme uitstraling. De menukaart is met zorg samengesteld en is een mooie mix van klassieke en moderne gerechten in het teken van het seizoen.

Lazy Louis Jazzcafé & Eethuys has been located in two monumental buildings in the center of Amersfoort since 1991. Loosely translated, Lazy Louis is named after the legendary jazz artist Louis Armstrong, where “Lazy” stands for the relaxed, jazzy atmosphere.

Jazz & blues play an important role in the café, both in the music and in the interior. An old piano, many saxophones and paintings by, among others, Herman Brood with the melodious name "Lazy Louis still life", together with the cozy, long bar, a wide range of special beers and jazz & blues music, provide a pleasant atmosphere.

This is the right place for a good cup of coffee, a nice glass of wine and a good draft beer. The restaurant is comfortable and beautifully decorated, atmospheric with a warm atmosphere. The menu has been put together with care and is a nice mix of classic and modern dishes in the sign of the season.
