This mosque is located on a peripheral area of Kuwait City, not far from the airport. As most of the city is, this neighborhood is packed with immigrants from other parts of the Muslim world. That means people coming to this mosque are from the most diverse origins. Actually, the mosque itself was built in 2000 by Syrians. Its surroundings are lively, perhaps too lively and the traffic is usually intense. But there are many shops and restaurants which offers a nice tone to the area.
