The arboretum is a beautiful, natural escape. Expect to be in the company of many other visitors who have also made the journey to enjoy the private gardens. There is plenty of parking on site. For public transportation from Seoul, the final leg of your trip is a bus ride into the mountains from Cheongpyeong railway station.
Dating back to 1996, the arboretum was designed and built by professor of horticulture, Han San-kyung.
