La Cuenca Hidrográfica del Guadalquivir se adentra por el NW en la Sierra de Aracena (Huelva) a través de las aguas de la llamada Rivera de Huelva. La zona más occidental de esa cuenca converge en el llamado Embalse de Aracena
El llamado Embalse de Aracena se ubica entre los términos municipales de Puerto Moral, Zufre y Corteconcepción. Fue inaugurado en 1972.
Este monolito, colocado para conmemorar la inauguración, representa al conjunto de la zona más occidental de la Cuenca Hidrográfica del Guadalquivir (Andalucía, España).
The Guadalquivir Hydrographic Basin enters the Sierra de Aracena (Huelva) to the NW through the waters of the so-called Rivera de Huelva. The westernmost area of this basin converges in the so-called Aracena Reservoir.
The so-called Aracena Reservoir is located between the municipalities of Puerto Moral, Zufre and Corteconcepción. It was inaugurated in 1972.
This monolith, placed to commemorate the inauguration, represents the whole of the westernmost area of the Guadalquivir Hydrographic Basin (Andalusia, Spain).
