La población turolense de Castelserás , a través de su alcaldía, ha propuesto, en un tono jocoso, decidir el presidente del futuro gobierno español como se hizo en su día, según cuenta la leyenda, con el rey Arturo en Inglaterra: sacando la espada que está clavada en una piedra junto al puente del río Guadalope .
La leyenda del rey Arturo es sobradamente conocida gracias a la literatura y al mundo del celuloide, con aquel muchacho, hijo del rey Uther del que se hizo cargo el mago Merlín a la muerte de su madre y que llegó a ser rey gracias a qu e extrajo de un yunque la espada Excalibur , que cuenta la leyenda que solo podría arrancar el rey de aquel país.
La idea de imitar aquella leyenda para decidir al futuro gobernante español partió de Ricardo Lop, gerente de la empresa Aceros de Hispania , que comercializa a través de internet espadas, sables, cuchillos, navajas, hachas, armaduras y en general armas medievales y que la expresó a la alcaldesa del Ayuntamiento de Castelserás, Esperanza Goni, y a su primer teniente de alcalde, Javier García.
A ambos les pareció una buena y divertida forma de llamar la atención y criticar la falta de acuerdo para formar un gobierno, además de promocionar la imagen de Castelserás.
Lop ha explicado a Efe que iba conduciendo en su coche mientras escuchaba las noticias relativas a la falta de acuerdo de los partidos políticos españoles para investir a un presidente del Gobierno cuando se acordó de la leyenda del rey Arturo. «Hacía cuatro días que había hecho una foto con una espada clavada en un tronco de un olivo y me vino a la mente la idea», ha explicado.
Similar a Excalibur
Lop ha desvelado que la espada, que está clavada en un paraje de gran belleza junto a un puente románico y una cascada, mide 1.80 metros de altura, pesa doce kilos y está clavada dos palmos en la roca y sujeta con un resina especial.
«Es una espada similar a Excalibur pero bastante mas grande y más recia que ha hecho el herrero del pueblo y que no creo que se pueda arrancar», ha indicado Lop, que ha añadido que se colocó el pasado lunes.
«Espadas de este tamaño existían en la antigüedad y se llamaban de dos manos. Eran muy pesadas. No cortaban. Mataban a la gente de un golpe y la media de duración de un combate no era ni un minuto», ha señalado Ricardo Lop, que ha añadido que ya ha habido gente que ha intentado arrancarla pero sin éxito.
La alcaldesa de la población turolense, Esperanza Goni, del Partido Aragonés (PAR), ha puesto a su propio pueblo como ejemplo de que se puede llegar a acuerdos, en el que alternará el cargo con el primer teniente de alcalde, Javier García (PSOE). « Acordamos estar dos años cada uno . Yo hasta junio de 2017 y luego Javier», ha indicado Esperanza Goni, que ha añadido que «eso demuestra que se puede llegar a acuerdos».
Feria de Antaño
Por su parte, Javier García ha señalado que la situación de la falta de Gobierno causa «hastío» y que tienen ganas de que se resuelvan las cosas.
«Queremos que se corrija la situación pero buscamos también que el nombre de nuestro municipio tenga cierta notoriedad y que se hable de Castelserás», ha apuntado.
A este respecto, ha recordado que el mes próximo, coincidiendo con la campaña electoral, se celebra en Castelserás la Feria de Antaño, de temática medieval, en la que se recrea el municipio en aquella época.
A ella tienen previsto invitar a los próximos candidatos a la presidencia del gobierno, para que midan sus fuerzas intentando arrancar la espada de la piedra de esta población del Bajo Aragón.
