[EN] The Church of Pyhä Pertteli is a long wooden church located in the village of Soukainen in Laitila, which was apparently built in the 18th century. The church was originally located in the village of Valko. It was previously repaired around 1800 and 1847 and 1896. A low armory-type space was later built in front of the west end of the church, and a bell stand with the year 1847 on the pennant is on the crest of the west end. A horn was once used in the church instead of bell. A rather extensive repair of the church was done in 1932. The church building was boarded up and painted red in 1965, the suspended ceiling was renewed and new pews were brought to the church from St. Michael's Church in Laitila. In 1969, a tiled roof was replaced by a gable roof.
[FIN] Soukaisten Pyhän Perttelin kirkko on Laitilan Soukaisten kylässä sijaitseva puinen pitkäkirkko, joka on ilmeisesti rakennettu 1700-luvulla. Kirkko sijaitsi alun perin Valkon kylässä. Sitä on korjattu aiemmin noin vuonna 1800 sekä 1847 ja 1896. Kirkon länsipäädyn edessä on myöhemmin rakennettu matala asehuoneen tyyppinen tila ja länsipäädyn harjalla kelloteline, jonka viirissä on vuosiluku 1847. Kellojen asemesta kirkossa on käytetty aikanaan torvea. Melko laaja korjaus kirkossa tehtiin 1932.
