If you see a cat sunning itself at the top of the stairs, I consider this spot to be the beginning of the boardwalk.

To find this popular no-fee raised boardwalk, hike south from Hanagae Beach. From the international airport, you can drive or take a bus to Hanagae Beach. This is a beautiful stretch of the West Sea coast. There are many things to see from the raised boardwalk, especially if you can translate the information sign before you explore the boardwalk. I was uncomfortable with the significant height above the surface below.
