On Muuido island, beautiful Hanagae Beach stretches for a kilometre along the West Sea coast. Many visitors enjoy exploring the tidal flats. Dozens of sea side cabanas are available. There is a convenience store and a few raw fish restaurants.
For the adventurous, there is an 800-metre long boardwalk along the shore south of the beach, high above the ocean surface. In season, ride a zip line above the beach. From the beach, there are hiking trails up Horyon Goksan mountain.
