The New Dora Observatory is a tourist information centre providing scenic views of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) dividing the Korean peninsula. The nearby military facility was also known as the Dora Observatory. The military facility cannot be visited.

There is a wooden gazebo east of the information centre. The gazebo offers beautiful scenic views into South Korea.
