NL Na een toeristisch dagje Zwolle zijn wij even nog de Grote Kerk ingegaan om de kerk te bezoeken. Er werd veel gewerkt in de kerk, maar deze kansel was nog goed zichtbaar. Wat mij betreft een indrukwekkend kansel midden in de kerk.

De eikenhouten preekstoel is tussen 1622 en 1626 gemaakt door Adam Straes uit Weilburg in Nassau (D). De kansel is 11,50 meter hoog en daarmee de op één na hoogste in ons land. Leidend motief in deze preekstoel is Christus als de ware wijnstok.

ENG After a touristic day in Zwolle we went into the Grote Kerk to visit the church. A lot of work was done in the church, but this pulpit was still clearly visible. As far as I'm concerned, an impressive pulpit in the middle of the church.

The oak pulpit was made between 1622 and 1626 by Adam Straes from Weilburg in Nassau (D). The pulpit is 11.50 meters high, making it the second highest in our country. The leading motif in this pulpit is Christ as the true vine.
