Per ridurre il numero di auto nel centro di Todi, è stato creato un
parcheggio vicino a Porta Orvietana ed è stato costruito l'Ascensore pubblico.
Questo ascensore inclinato trasporta le persone a un'altezza dalla quale è molto
più facile visitare il centro di Todi che non salire a piedi. L'uso è gratuito.

In order to reduce the number of cars in downtown Todi, a parking lot was
created near Porta Orvietana and the Ascensore pubblico (Public Elevator) was
built. This inclined elevator transports people to a height from which it is
much easier to visit downtown Todi than if one had to climb the hill on foot.
The use is free of charge. The operating hours are (without guarantee) from 7:00
to 24:00. If you have enough time, you could also walk the path through the
gardens back to the parking lot and enjoy the magnificent view.
