"History Jungle Furniture
Jungle Furniture was set up by Eep and Marrie Borgers from Kootwijkerbroek. It arose when they themselves were looking for a nice large wooden table and noticed that the search was difficult.
When we finally managed to find a table to their liking, Eep said: “We can do that ourselves; sell tables and other wood products, so that the search becomes less difficult for other interested parties”.
And when Eep does something, he does it right. They quickly started selling all kinds of hardwood furniture and home accessories at markets and fairs. And those sales on the markets turned out to be a bull's eye. They received a lot of comments that it was clearly different from clothing, jewelry, socks and other typical market products and they have maintained this for years.
At a certain point, the desire for 'jungle furniture' became so great that in addition to visiting markets and fairs, a showroom was also realized in Kootwijkerbroek. In this way, interested parties could take a look at the wide range of products even more easily and in peace (by appointment).
The baton has now been handed over to Marcel, the son of Eep and Marrie. He now runs the business with his girlfriend Xaviera and they can also be found together at markets and fairs. Of course, the young generation does not sit still and keeps up with the latest techniques, which is why a webshop has also been realized for Jungle Meubelen."
