This is one of many sirens located on Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. This particular system is called "Giant Voice" and it is used to relay vital information, such as lightning warnings, severe weather, or any terrorist threat. They test the siren every Wednesday at noon. They play reveille every morning and retreat at the end of each duty day.
