Inauguran remodelación de la Concha Acústica de Campeche

Conciertos de las fiestas carnestolendas y eventos culturales regresarán al recinto

Con más de seis meses de retrasos por la pandemia del COVID-19, ayer por la noche el gobernador Carlos Miguel Aysa y su esposa Victoria Damas inauguraron la reconstrucción y modernización del recinto Héctor Pérez Martínez, mejor conocido como la Concha Acústica de Campeche, con una inversión del domo de 43 millones de pesos y con el objetivo que las conciertos de las fiestas carnestolendas regresen a este lugar, que desde 1930 ha sido el escenario de diversos espectáculos.

Además de hacer más grande la infraestructura, el recinto conserva las mismas características acústicas que poseía previa a la remodelación para la realización de conciertos de diferentes estilos musicales, obras de teatro y otro tipo de eventos. También cuenta con un domo recubierto con cristales que tiene iluminación especial, estos sirven para resguardar a los espectadores de las inclemencias del tiempo, sin embargo, la nueva Concha Acústica no tiene vestidores como la anterior.

Esta obra es parte de los trabajos de urbanización del tradicional parque de San Román, donde una primera fase que integró el parque infantil e incluyó mejoras de los espacios verdes, ya fue entregada. La segunda fase consistió en la reconstrucción de la Concha Acústica y el espacio para espectáculos. Aún no se ha dado a conocer si existirá una tercera fase que contemple la remodelación de los espacios deportivos.

Luego de la develación de la placa que enmarca la obra, hubo un espectáculo artístico por parte del Ballet Folclórico del Instituto Campechano similar a una noche mexicana, la presentación de una agrupación de mariachis y de la Orquesta sinfónica del Gobierno del Estado.

También estuvieron presentes, Miguel Ángel Chuc López, titular del Poder Judicial; José Luis González Pinzón, secretario de Salud; Tirzo García Sandoval, de Planeación; Jorge Argáez Uribe, de Seguridad Pública; Edgar Hernández Hernández, de Protección Civil; Edilberto Buenfil Montalvo, de Desarrollo Urbano, Obras Públicas e Infraestructura; Delio Carrillo Pérez, de Cultura; Juan Manuel Herrera Campos, fiscal general; Enrique Dena Salgado, comandante de la Zona Militar 33; Octavio Trejo Hermida, de la Tercera Región Naval; y Pedro Armentía López, secretario general de Gobierno.

Inauguration of the remodeling of the Acoustic Shell of Campeche

Carnival concerts and cultural events will return to the venue.

With more than six months of delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last night Governor Carlos Miguel Aysa and his wife Victoria Damas inaugurated the reconstruction and modernization of the Héctor Pérez Martínez venue, better known as the Acoustic Shell of Campeche, with a dome investment of 43 million pesos and with the objective that the concerts of the carnival festivities return to this place, which since 1930 has been the scene of various shows.

In addition to enlarging the infrastructure, the venue retains the same acoustic characteristics it had prior to the remodeling for concerts of different musical styles, plays and other types of events. It also has a glass-covered dome with special lighting to protect spectators from inclement weather; however, the new Acoustic Shell does not have dressing rooms like the previous one.

This work is part of the urbanization of the traditional San Roman park, where the first phase, which included the children's playground and improvements to the green spaces, has already been completed. The second phase consisted of the reconstruction of the Acoustic Shell and the space for shows. It has not yet been announced whether there will be a third phase that includes the remodeling of the sports facilities.

After the unveiling of the plaque that frames the work, there was an artistic show by the Folkloric Ballet of the Campechano Institute similar to a Mexican night, the presentation of a group of mariachis and the State Government Symphony Orchestra.
