The Military Museum of the Azores is located in the Forte de São Brás. The fortress itself is worth visiting but if you are interested in military equipment, that is the right place for you. You can see a wide variety of weapons, uniforms, vehicles, etc. After strolling through the museum, don't forget to sign the guestbook. It is located in the ticket office. It is displayed on a glass lectern-like table on the left of the counter.
The Museum is open from Mondays to Sundays, from 10 am to 6 pm, except for holidays. Tickets are 3 euros.
