While on holidays in Italy, I enjoyed a long afternoon hike up the Poggio le Piane. On top of the Poggio le Piane there is a border stone and a sign with townies/counties Dicomano and Pontassieve

About the walk to the top:
The walk from Celle to the top of Poggio le Piane is a 4.5 hour round trip. In geocaching terms I would consider it a terrain 3.5 and when it rains it can be a T4, some spots T4.5 (lots of slippery rocks).
There are several very nice views on your way to the top and several spots to sit down.
The top of Poggio le Piane has a bordermarker showing 2 townships: Dicomano and Pontassieve.

Personal experience:
Getting to the top was not too difficult as there was no rain.... until the very last few 100 meters (through difficult terrain) it did start to rain and then to pour down hard. Not really recommended to do this one with this kind of weather.
About Dicomano:
"Dicomano is an Italian town of 5 440 inhabitants in the metropolitan city of Florence in Tuscany. It belongs to the Mugello mountain community, despite being geographically the last municipality in the north-west of Valdisieve, of which it has always been an administrative part until 2008."
