Schéissendëmpel is a beautiful and probably the most photographed waterfall in Luxembourg. The waterfall is part of the river the Black Ernz. The waterfall consists of 3 small waterfalls next to each other and it is about 4 meters high. Below the waterfall, a small pond has formed and above the waterfall is a very beautiful stone bridge which also has the name Schiessentümpel. Incidentally, it was built in 1879.
Visiting the waterfall is easy. There is a parking lot about 500 m from the waterfall. From here you can either follow the main road to the waterfall or follow the Mullerthal Trail in the forest.
