Sweden started replacing their old bank notes after the date of October 1st in 2015. In the following nine month (until June 30th in 2016) both bank notes were valid payment, after that the old money had to be changed by Swedens Central Bank (Sveriges Riksbank).

The new bank notes have on the front side Swedish Artists with some picture of their works and on the back side a picture of nature located near the place where the artist lived. For the bank note 200 Swedish Crowns (in swedish TVÅ HUNDRA KRONOR) the selected artist was film director Ingmar Berman, who lived on the island Farö (Gotland). They used the rauks of Farö in Langhammars nature reserve as the piece of nature.
