Luxembourg City is located on different levels and has many beautiful viewpoints. In fact, there are 70 meters from the top of the city to the bottom. This level difference is formed by a steep rock face which ends at the two rivers, the Alzette and the Pétrusse. You can walk along the entire edge of the cliff, which is also called "Europe's most beautiful balcony".
In Luxembourg there are defensive walls, bastions, castles and buildings from various centuries. Very modern buildings designed by award-winning architects can also be visited. Examples of this are MUDAM, the new art museum and The Philharmonie Luxembourg,
