"Aan het spoor van Arnhem naar Doetinchem staat een markant gebouw: de oude Graansilo aan de rand van Wehl. Het silogebouw en de bijbehorende magazijnen zijn, als onderdeel van een meelfabriek in etappes in de periode 1920 – 1956 gebouwd. In opdracht van een agrarische coöperatie. De agrarische industrie was belangrijk voor Wehl. Toch was de graansilo lange tijd geen reden tot trots voor de inwoners van Wehl. Door leegstand ging het silo-gebouw snel achteruit en in 1998 kwam een evt. sloop ter sprake. Na de door BOEi geïnitieerde restauratie van de Graansilo is het monument thans getransformeerd tot een bruisende werkplek voor kleine zelfstandigen. Het is een inspirerend bedrijfsverzamelgebouw geworden voor creatieve ondernemers."
