"On both sides of the covered entrance to the Sparkasse, two large-format mosaic pictures guide customers into the counter hall. The Trier glass artist Jakob Schwarzkopf (

To the right of the entrance, life-size figures from very different professions are lined up gesticulating with strikingly slenderly proportioned hands in front of a partly abstract, partly representational colorful background. They appear as representatives of the savings bank clientele. Life-size figures in their leisure behavior at Lake Losheim, also against an abstract, colorful background, adorn the wall to the right of the entrance. In both pictures, with fruit growing on the one hand and the bathing lake on the other, the artist makes direct reference to the region, to the place. Two other works by the artist, two leaded glass windows in free composition of opaque stained glass, originally illuminated the hallway of the upper floor. Today, only one window remains, but it is walled behind and can no longer be seen in its luminosity."
