"Along Dubai Creek, the historic Al Fahidi neighborhood offers visitors the opportunity to experience the traditional Iifestyle in Dubai from the mid-19th century to the 1970s, with Its authentic and rich cultural offerings that can be seen across the design and distribution of the district's traditional houses, where buildings with Barjeels, windtowers constructed using vernacularmaterials, separated by alleys, sikkos, and public squares, give the area a natural aesthetic diversity.

Due to its strategic location on Dubai Creek, the neighborhood has played an important role in managing the city's trade harbor and welcoming a flux of merchants. Today, the district remains adjacent to
the Diwan, the Duba Ruler's Court.
