THE AIRPORT
"It is located on Hulhule Island in the north of Male Atoll, near the capital of the island.

Today, Ibrahim Nassir International Airport is very well connected to the most important airports in the world, most of the main gateway to the Maldives for tourists. On the other hand, despite the improvement of Gan Airport to the international standard, Ibrahim Nasir Airport is currently the only active international airport in the country."

"Ibrahim Nasir Rannabandeyri Kilegefan (Dhivehi), KCMG, NGIV (Nishan Ghaazeege 'Izzatheri Veriya, Dhiveti, September 1926 – 22 November 2008) was a Maldivian politician who served as the prime minister of the Maldives 1957 to 1968 and later President from 1968 to 1978."
