[ENG]Josef Pilsudski was Polish military leader, Chief of State (1918–1922), and First Marshal of Poland (from 1920). He is one of the most iconic and beloved polish historic figure. Probably every polish city has a street of his name. In Warsaw, one of the main squares were named after him and there you can find the sculpture that is a topis of this Waymark.
The sculpture was created in 1935 by amercian artist - Nicolaus Koni. It did not reach Poland due to WWII as it was planned. The sculptor arranged to send it to London and then back to the U.S. After WWII, the sculpture was exhibited in more than 30 American museums. 55 years later, it was transported and installed on Pilsudski Square in Warsaw.
The sculpture stands on the pedestal that says:

[ENG] Józef Pilsudzki byl polskim przywódca wojskowym, Szefek Stanu (1918-1922) i I Marszlakiem Polski (po 1920). Jest tez jedna z najbardzierj ikoniczych i wielbionych postaci historycznych. Najprawdopodbniej kazde polskie miasto ma ulice jego imienia. W Warszawie, uchonorowano go nadajac jednemu z najwiekszych placów jego imie. To wlasnie tu stoi rzezba bedaca przedmiotem tego WM.
Autorem rzezby jest amerrtykanski artysta - Nicolaus Koni. Rzezba nigdy nie dotarla do Polski przez II wojne swiatowa, jak planowano. Autor wyslal ja do Londynu, a stamtad z powrotem do USA. Po wojnie, wystawiano ja w ponad 30 muzeach w Stanach. 55 lat pózniej przetransportowana ja i umieszczono na Placu Pilsudzkiego.
Rzezba stoi na piedestale, na którym znajduje sie napis:
