[ENG] The community garden was started in 1902 by Maria Praczkówna. It is open to everyone to walk in alleys with cute names like Alley of Smiles and feel the aroma of flowers and blooming trees.
It used to be much bigger and reached Pulawska street. During WWII it gave citizens food and shelter. After the war, it was rebuilt and named Garden of Peace Keepers (pl: Obronców Pokoju).
The Garden consists of 289 parcels of different sizes. Those who are not lucky enough to possess one of them can visit from 8 am to 9 pm during spring and summer and from 9 am to 4 pm during autumn and winter.

W przeszlosci ogród byl o wiele wiekszy i siegal az do ulicy Pulawskiej. W czasie II Wojny Swiatowej zapewnial zywnosc i schronienie mieszkancom Warszawy. Po wojnie, odbudowano go i nadano nazwe Obronców Pokoju.
Ogród zostal podzielony na 289 dzialek o róznej wielkosci. Osoby, które nie maja szczescia i nie sa w posiadaniui jednej z nich, moga odwiedzic go od 8 do 21 wiosna i latem lub od 9 do 16 jesienia i zima/
