Tijdens een dagje op het strand die omdat het eb werd steeds groter werd kwam het idee om een mooie A op het strand te tekenen, vooraf werd er met een dikke paal een route gemarkeerd om vervolgens met de GPS na te lopen en te vereeuwigen, klein detail een is dat hier in het jaar 1600 de grote slag bij Nieuwpoort heeft plaatsgevonden

During a day on the beach, which was getting bigger as the tide went out, the idea came up to draw a beautiful A on the beach. Beforehand, a route was marked with a thick pole and then walked and immortalised with the GPS. One small detail is that the great battle of Nieuwpoort took place here in the year 1600.
