The College Inn was built for the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition. The historic pub is located beneath the Inn and has 14 taps and offerings include beers from most area craft breweries, as well as a couple of imports.

This historic landmark, built for the 1909 Alaska-Yukon Exposition houses 27 guest rooms, each with its own washbasin, mirror, and eclectic decor. The building is a complex that includes the Hotel, the Cafe Allegro, the College Inn Pub, the Easy Shoppe convenience store, and the Bean and Bagel coffee and lunch stand.
The pub itself is located underneath the Inn and you must descend stairs to enter. It is a Seattle gem. UW students have made this their hangout for years, contemplating chess strategy and reading thick texts, while sipping their ales. The pub is surprisingly big, and broken up into three rooms; the main area has pool tables and darts, the big back room has tables with chessboards, and a smaller back room is opened up for "overflow". The pub overflows more often than not. It is non-smoking, as all restaurants and bars are in Washington State.
