Fortaleza do Monte (Portuguese for Mount Fortress) is a fort in the historical center of Macau. Built on 52-meter tall Mount Hill, it provides an excellent view of the city. It is worth looking west to see the Ruins of Saint Paul's church - one of the most iconic buildings in Macao.
Admission to the fort is free. During your stay, consider visiting Museu de Macau located here. It is definitely worth your time and it costs 15 MOP.
