In July 2016 Australia Post took responsibility for postal services on Norfolk Island. The only post office on the Island is a LPO situated inside P&R Groceries.
While Norfolk Island is a separate territory, the Island is allocated a NSW postcode of 2899 for mail sorting purposes.
There is no postal delivery service on Norfolk Island. All mail is delivered to PO Boxes at the Post Office.
