Timberline Lodge is a beautiful structure, and well worth a visit when you're in that part of Oregon. A National Historic Landmark, Timberline Lodge was built at the 6000’ elevation of Mt Hood by the WPA (Works Progress Administration) and the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) and dedicated by President Roosevelt on September 28, 1937.

Timberline Lodge is presently an inn, and has several dining areas.
