DE: Die Verwaltungsgebäude auf dem Gelände der STRABAG an der Siegburger Straße 235 bis 241 wurden bereits 2020 abgerissen, um Platz für das neue Bauprojekt "Mattes & Düxx" zu schaffen. Entworfen wurde der Bürokomplex mit den zwei Gebäuden von den beiden Architekten Professor Gernot Scholz und André Zweering im Auftrag der Strabag Real Estate. Geplant ist ein Ensemble bestehend aus einem siebenstöckigen Gebäude (Mattes) mit einem begrünten Innenhof und Dachterssen sowie direkt daneben ein sechzehn Stockwerke umfassendes Gebäude von etwa 60m Höhe (Düxx). 175 Parkplätze soll die Tiefgarage unter den beiden Gebäuden bieten.
Auf Nachhaltigkeit wurde bei der Planung Wert gelegt, so ist eine Geothermienutzung für die Heizung vorgesehen und CO2-armer Beton eingeplant. Baubeginn war Anfang September 2021, mit der Fertistellung von "Mattes" wird im dritten Quartal 2024 gerechnet, die Fertigstellung des Hochhauses "Düxx" ist zum Frühjahr 2026 geplant.

EN: The administration buildings on the STRABAG site at Siegburger Straße 235 to 241 were demolished in 2020 to make room for the new "Mattes & Düxx" construction project. The office complex with the two buildings was designed by the two architects Professor Gernot Scholz and André Zweering on behalf of Strabag Real Estate. An ensemble is planned consisting of a seven-storey building (Mattes) with a green inner courtyard and roof terraces as well as a sixteen-storey building directly next to it, about 60m high (Düxx). The underground car park under the two buildings will offer 175 parking spaces.
When planning, value was placed on sustainability, so geothermal energy is planned for heating and low-CO2 concrete will be used. Construction began at the beginning of September 2021, the completion of "Mattes" is expected in the third quarter of 2024, the completion of the high-rise "Düxx" is planned for spring 2026.
