NL Als kind heb ik hier heel vaak in het park gespeeld. Ik liep er ook altijd door op weg naar mijn school. In het westen van het park zijn veel banen van de Meernse Jeu-des-Boules-club. In het midden van het park is een monument voor verzetshelden uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Hier vindt jaarlijks op 4 mei de Dodenherdenking plaats. In het oosten van het park is een grasveld met speeltoestellen. Ik zag in het Utrechts Archief dat het park in 1967 is geopend door de burgemeester van Vleuten-De Meern.
ENG As a child I often played here in the park. I used to walk through it all the time on my way to school. In the west of the park are many courts of the Meernse Jeu-des-Boules club. In the middle of the park is a monument to resistance heroes from the Second World War. Remembrance Day takes place here every year on May 4. In the east of the park is a lawn with play equipment. I saw in the Utrecht Archives that the park was opened in 1967 by the mayor of Vleuten-De Meern.
