eng: "One of the oldest examples of cultured architecture preserved in the city of Vigo, it is also known as the tower house of Ceta and Arines. It is made up of two buildings: a sober late Gothic tower and an elegant Plateresque-style mansion. The latter receives in the jambs and lintel of the central bay of the third floor the characteristic Plateresque ornamentation. On each side of that bay is a Renaissance medallion. Also noteworthy is the powerful balcony of this floor and the conoplial arches of the second. The bell tower has been rehabilitated and currently houses the Camões Institute. Since 1946, the complex has been a Historic-Artistic Monument"
Date Built: XV-XVI
