In the historical center of Santo Domingo, an area classified by UNESCO as World Heritage Site, one can spot this anchor. It's located by a side facade of the magnificent building hosting the Museum of the Royal Houses.

There is a plaque informing that the anchor belonged to the galleon Conde de Toulosa, shipwrecked of the coast of Samana in 1724.
