Takanami is a great place to get sushi, and other Japanese fusion food. They have excellent special rolls as well as the normal selection.

Takanami offers an excellent selection of sushi. They also have a wide selection of non-sushi items that should cover almost anybody's taste. Their soup of the day is always extremely good, especially a mushroom offering the often have. Their non-sushi entree's offer unique ingredients and many different flavors perfectly complementing each other. The sushi is always great. My 3 favorite rolls are :
Tropical Twist (Salmon, Mango, Cucumbers, Radish Sprouts, and Flying Fish Roe)
Godzilla (Shrimp Tempura, Tuna, Cucumbers, and Flying Fish Roe)
Fire Dragon (Spicy Tuna, Cucumber, and Layered Tuna)
They also offer a good selection of drinks to go with your dinner.
