St.John's is a Methodist church in the town of Arbroath on the east coast of Scotland which was built by John Wesley and opened on May 6th 1772 on the south side Ponderlaw Street just east of the town centre. It is known locally as the "Totum Kirkie" after its octagonal nave, totum being the Scots name for an eight-sided spinning top, and Kirk the Scots name for church.
The church was extended in 1882 with a porch and gallery. The church hall was built in 1896. The adjacent manse was built at the same time as the church in 1772 as a single storey building, an upper storey was added in 1869, and it is now known as Wesley House.
The church is orientated from north-west to south-east with the white-harled octagonal nave to the rear. The frontage on Ponderlaw Street is in local red sandstone.
The church is currently the second oldest still remaining in Scotland.
