The former Traffic Park Assen is transformed into a shooting range. As long as the land has not been sold, the amusement park site is rented by the Copperhead Airsoft association.
Airsoft uses special weapons. They look like ordinary pistols or machine guns, but can only fire biodegradable balls. The sport consists of three disciplines: card shooting, course shooting and re-enactment.
Copperhead Airsoft is all about the latter form. In addition, two teams compete against each other. They can earn points by completing assignments.
