Japanese Garden - Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic - Japanese Gardens on Waymarking.com

This is a fine Japanese garden, located within the grounds of the wider National Botanical Garden of Republican Republic, in the country's capital, Santo Domingo.

Entrance is trough the main gate of the National Botanical Garden, tickets costs 50 DOP for Dominican citizens and a bit more for foreigners. There is no extra fee to gain access to the Japanese Garden.

It's located about 1,5 km from the gate. There is a train (extra cost) available.

It's a relatively complex garden, with all the customary elements of a Japanese garden, including some tall trees characteristic from Japan. Unfortunately and the date of visit all running water was not actually running, channels were dry.
